Typical Monday!
Here we go! The beginning of another week! Here's what my Monday looked like today. Just another day in the life . . .
Started the day with filling up my new cup with lots of water. I can't resist buying things to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month! The 3 Day Walk here in Atlanta this weekend raised 2.9 million dollars! Wohoo!! If you ever get a chance to walk the 3 Day - it's a must. One of the best experiences I've ever had!
However, that nice cup of water did me little good when I went to teach my first class since I left it in the car. Yep.

Then back home for a quick lunch and a little computer work - that turned into something pretty typical for me these days. Computer problems. My computer wouldn't do a darn thing this morning when I turned it on! It sent me into a bit of a panic as I have some things due soon and I NEED my computer. Since I'm just coming off a 2 week campaign with my internet provider for deleting my email account, I'm feeling pretty technically snakebit. I've spent wasted phonecalls and time dealing with the whole email issue and have finally come to the conclusion that we will be parting ways. But, what a pain to re-do all the email information out there! Anyhoo, this wasn't really on my agenda as what I needed for this Monday! Here's the deal - nothing showed up on my dock, no matter what I did. Restart the computer. Nope. Turn Dock options on. Nope. Nothing. I googled and tried all advice. One of the women in my last class suggested I turn off the computer and turn it on in Shift mode. Well, let me tell you how thankful I am for the smart folks that come to my classes because it worked! It took a little bit of patience, but I am back in action! I tell you this so you'll know if this issue ever comes up . . . now you know.
I'm afraid my 11 year old desktop might have seen its better days . . . but the thought of spending money on a new one makes my toes curl.
Since I was back up and running, lunch at my desk. A spinach salad with a little feta, balsamic vinegar, cranberries and leftover flank steak from last night. Last night we grilled two flank steaks, because, you know, sometimes one just isn't enough. Good for me, though, because I was in need of some protein.

Then moving on to the location of my third workout of the day - my home gym for private clients. I love my new spot! I have to admit when we were in the process of looking to move I was so sad to have to leave my old home gym. We had only recently gotten it just like we liked it and then to have to leave it . . . and, so , of course, every house we looked at I was eyeballing for a workout space! I'm finally unpacked and set up down here and couldn't be happier!
So, how's your Monday? Any life issues hit you today? And, Desktop or Laptop????
And, have you bought Halloween candy yet? NOOOOOOOOOOOO. Just don't do it. It's kinda like "If you give a Mouse a Cookie". Once that bag is opened . . . .
Have a GREAT Day!
