Christmas lists . . . Thank Heavens for help from friends!
This is the bottom of our Christmas tree. Yes, it's the same 14 foot monster my boys brought home that had to be completely chopped and re-shaped to even resemble a Christmas tree, but that's not the problem any more. If you will notice, there isn't a single present under the tree. It's a bit distressing to me. I'm one of those folks who begins in July and is completely finished with all shopping by now and would have nicely wrapped presents under the tree. This emptiness has kept me up at night for the past few evenings!
The lack of getting the Christmas "work" done has been due to the fact that the First Son has still been playing football which has been so (time consuming and) fun! Winning a State Championship title is well worth the lack of shopping . . .

All of this, plus the fact that I've been in and out of town with my poor mom who has been sick, has left little time for things like shopping, baking, wrapping AND blogging. However, things are getting back to normal so I'm playing catch up - in a big way!
And, thanks to the wonderful friends in my workout classes, I have some wonderful gift ideas! Thanks to them and the sweet internet I'm beginning to get it done. I have a list of some things I've come up with and some things my friends have told me about and some things on my or my family's list. So, here I am to share. Maybe you, too, are scrambilng for some new, creative, or even not so creative ideas.

Did you see anything new or fun to add to your list?
I hope your tree looks better than mine! Have you finished shopping? Are you an early shopper or procrastinator?
merry merry!
