Good Stuff from the Week
This is one of those weeks when I just want to share some old fashioned good stuff. Things ranging from recipes to tips to articles I came across. Plus, if you have a MDMat and hang around to the end, I might just have a giveaway for you . . .So, here they are in no particular order.
I have been listening to Ali Brown on and off for the past few years and she has some amazing guests on. They are all out of my league but so inspiring! This one was really interesting as Dr. Brogan takes about going from a prescribing practitioner to a much more holistic method and looking at the issues rather than treating the symptoms.2. Skinnytaste Bruschetta ChickenPlease make this dish this week! You will. thank. me. I used the fresh tomatoes right from the planters on my little deck and it was delicious. You know I'm all about simple, fresh and tasty, and this fits the bill!3. Blue Zones on How to Design Your Home to Live BetterThis was an interesting little article that caught my eye. I am preparing to move so anything home related gets my attention. Better movement, better meals, better sleep . . . all the things.4. Tim Ferris's interviews Anne LamontI listened to this interview by way of Tim Ferriss' podcast, but here is the YouTube link. If you are a fan of Anne Lamont's you'll enjoy. If you aren't then maybe it's a good thing. It means you've likely not had some major life event, grief, death or those other bumps that brings you looking for something like Lamont's humour, reality and grounding to help you on the journey.5. Gretchen Rubin's List to Get HappierI have a few tricks that I fall back on when I need to get out of a funk or get a little happier. Mind you, my list is not up to 30 like Gretchen Rubin's and mine doesn't include going to the museum or studying color, but I'll bet mine does include some things that you would totally think weird. And that's okay, because we all need our own little tricks and hacks to help us through the muck sometimes. This is just a reminder to make your own list, appreciate what makes you smile and lean on it when you need.Lassssstttt but not least. . . . Congrats for still hanging out with me! AND, if you are an owner of a MDMat and one of those who has been asking for a strap to carry your mat, then YOU are in the RIGHT place! I have 85 in straps that are great for looping around the folded mat, to throw over your shoulder and carry wherever! And also good for stretching!AND, I'm giving away 2 more straps to those you who want to try it. All I need you to do is:
- Follow MDMatlife on Instagram AND
- Give a review of the MDMat HERE
- and, of course, tell a friend all about the MDMat!
That's it for this week!
